About me

I am Sasha Damjanovski, a filmmaker, speaker and coach.

I consider myself fortunate to have been and am learning from a great variety of life experiences. Originally from former Yugoslavia, I was raised in a mixed nationality family, studied sociology and psychology, have a military officer training (national service), started writing, and worked in radio and TV before moving countries and arriving to London, UK.

With the big move, developing multiple careers also followed. Writing, directing and producing film, TV, theatre and business communications is challenging and incredibly rewarding in equal measure. And I’ve got both scars and awards to show for it. Am proud to be a partner in CreativeHQ, the business accelerator for film, TV, and digital producers. Tickled to be writing and narrating Whispers, a podcast of short stories, and to have releasing an album - Glimmers - a cello and spoken word collaboration. And wildly excited to be writing House of T, a comedy sci-fi series, scheduled for 2027 production.

Meanwhile, training in psychological counselling and CBT enabled me to become a counselling coach, trainer and lecturer, working with individuals and multiple corporate and educational organisations, including University of Arts London.

Along all this, important life stuff came, too, such as marriage, raising children, embracing tango and tantra along the way (a life changing combo, as it happens), and generally growing to be a better human.

If there is something all these life experience have taught me is to remain curious and open, and navigate life with kindness and courage to grow.
